Are you a U.S. citizen? Do you have an opinion about health care? I'd like to connect with random citizens and hear rational views about health care reform. My views are simple:
1) Our premiums have gone up while wages have stagnated. Do you agree?
2) Insurance companies are making medical decisions for us instead of our doctors. Agree?
3) It's shameful that many Americans are uninsured. Disagree?
4) Hospitals should not be "for profit." Disagree?
5) Everyone should have free mammograms, PSA, and other preventive diagnostic tests. What do you think?
6) Not only should there be a government option, but a single payer plan will save money, simplify the system, and reward health care providers. What's wrong with social security for everyone? What do you think?
7) Did you know that 10% of Americans make about 50% of all the income in this country? So what! How do you feel about that?
